There is another report ready for April 2012. Head over to My-Indie-Story.com and read it there!
What happened to the income reports? Here’s the answer
May 14th, 2012 by eiswuxe 2 comments »The content on Eiswuxe.de is currently heading into multiple different directions. On the one side, it’s a showcase / product info website for the apps I have developed, which are mainly aimed at children (I will be developing some apps not aimed directly at kids in the future). On the other side I write blogposts about my life as an independent developer and post my statistics. Then I blog about my personal opinion from time to time. It’s very mixed up.
So I decided to split this up a bit. The first noticeable change is that the income reports have moved to a new location. I created a new site just for the purpose of keeping you updated on my indie-dev-life. Behold (and bookmark!)

my-indie-story.com!
So everyone who visits eiswuxe.de for the blogposts can now bookmark my-indie-story and get updated there. I will add the reports for may and april the next days, I promise.
I also wrote an e-book that contains ALL infos from my blogposts PLUS even more tips and tricks on making your app successful. You can find that e-book on my-indie-story as well. So if you need a reference book, want to learn about more of my secrets or just want to support me and show your appreciation for my blogposts, please consider buying a copy of the book. Its $29.99 for 60 pages full of infos (with free lifetime updates). The book will be updated with every new blogpost, and some of my infos can only be found there.
The rest of Eiswuxe.de will be split up in the future and the website will be redesigned to feature only my kids apps. All my other work will move to a different location of which you will be informed in time.

Just some short info on what’s happening
April 23rd, 2012 by eiswuxe No comments »Hi there.
I can imagine some of you are waiting for my income report for march 2012. I was busy finishing my latest app (again) so I had to postpone the report once more. But the app is being uploaded to the appstore right now and will be released for iOS / Android in 1-2 weeks.
During the next days I have to complete some stuff to get my already finished apps out to some more very interesting markets. You will read of this in the income report for April. Or maybe I just combine march/april into one post. We’ll see. So stay tuned.
Official beta for Hurrican on MacOS/X
April 20th, 2012 by eiswuxe No comments »After releasing the Hurrican Source-Code some weeks ago, several people started porting the game to different platforms. Jens Restemeier works on porting Hurrican to MacOS/X. The port is currently in beta status. In case you missed his comment, here is the full story:
“If anyone is interested, this is the current beta for MacOS/X:
http://hurrican.restemeier.net/Hurrican.dmg
It requires at least MacOS 10.5, and should work on PowerPC and Intel. You should save open documents, and I guess if you want to run software from strange people on the internet you should have recent backups as well. :)
The feedback so far has been quite positive, but it still needs a bit of polish before I’d call it an official release. Have fun.
(It uses sparkle for automatic updates, and the link will always point to the latest build.)”
So feel free to test the game and post some feedback in the comments!
EDIT
Jens also created a thread for this in the hurrican forum. Go check it out:

Animal Puzzle For Toddlers now on NOOK devices
March 26th, 2012 by eiswuxe 4 comments »It’s still difficult for non-US-residents to publish on the Barnes & Noble NOOK store.
You need a US-bank account and a US tax-ID. So I partnered with Toy Studio to bring “Animal Puzzle For Toddlers” to NOOK devices.
You can get it HERE. I will keep you informed via my reports on how my app performs on that “platform”.
